Every price in the list was read off that company's own pricing page on October 31, 2026, and the sources are linked under the calculator. We didn't include any plan whose price we couldn't confirm. Pound and euro figures are rough conversions at about $1 = £0.76 = €0.87, so they aren't the local price. UK and EU prices often include VAT and can be different. Intro discounts aren't included. Check the official page before you buy.
How to use the AI cost calculator
- Tick each plan you pay for now, or one you're thinking about. You can tick plans from different companies, for example ChatGPT Plus plus Claude Pro.
- Set the number of months. 12 shows your yearly cost and 1 shows your monthly bill.
- Choose a currency. Dollars are the exact list price. Pounds and euros are estimates.
- Read the table. It lists each plan's monthly price, the total for your chosen months, and the grand total. If you've picked two plans from the same company, you'll also see a tip, because you probably only need one of them.

How much does ChatGPT Plus cost in 2026?
On October 31, 2026, OpenAI's pricing page shows ChatGPT Plus at $20 a month and ChatGPT Go at $8 a month. Pro starts at $100 a month.
Is Claude Pro cheaper if I pay yearly?
Yes. Anthropic lists Claude Pro at $20 billed monthly, or $17 a month when you pay $200 up front for a year. This calculator uses the monthly price.
Why are the pound and euro totals only estimates?
AI companies set their own local prices, and those usually include VAT. Our pound and euro figures just convert the US price, so they show roughly what you'd pay, not the exact checkout amount.
Why is the Perplexity price "billed annually"?
On the day we checked, Perplexity's public page only listed annual pricing: Pro at $17 a month and Max at $167 a month, both billed yearly. We use those figures, so any monthly-billing price may be higher.
Does this tool store my choices?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
