Date Calculator

How many days until the deadline? What date is 90 days after a contract starts? How many working days are in a project? This free date calculator answers all of these in two simple modes. In days between dates mode, pick a start and end date to see the difference in days, weeks and days, months and days, and the number of business days (Monday to Friday), with an option to count the end date too, which matters for things like hotel nights versus event days. In add or subtract mode, start from any date and add or take away a number of days, weeks, months or years, or a number of working days that skips weekends. That's handy for notice periods, visa stays, payment terms like "net 30", pregnancy and fitness plans, or counting down to a holiday. Month arithmetic is handled carefully: adding one month to January 31 gives the last day of February rather than spilling into March, and leap years are taken into account. Public holidays differ by country and state, so the business-day count excludes weekends only; subtract your local holidays yourself. Everything runs in your browser.

  2. To find a future or past date, choose a start date, add or subtract, and pick the unit.
  3. Use business days for work deadlines; then subtract any public holidays in your country.

Common uses

  • "Net 30" invoice terms: add 30 days.
  • Notice periods: add weeks or months.
  • Countdown to a holiday or event: days between today and the date.

FAQ

Does it include public holidays?

No. Holidays vary by country and even by state or region, so business days exclude only Saturdays and Sundays.

What happens if I add a month to January 31?

You get the last day of February (28th or 29th), not a date in March. This is how most banks and contracts treat it.

Should I include the end date?

Include it when both the first and last day count, such as event days or a medication course. Leave it out for nights stayed or time elapsed.

Is anything stored?

No. All calculations happen in your browser.
