Schema Markup Generator

Schema markup (structured data) is a block of code that describes your page in a vocabulary search engines understand, from schema.org. It tells Google that a page is an article by a particular author published on a certain date, a product with a price and availability, or a local business with opening hours. That clarity can make pages eligible for rich results such as product prices and review stars, article dates and breadcrumbs in place of a raw URL. This free schema markup generator creates clean JSON-LD, the format Google recommends, for the most useful types: Article / BlogPosting, Product (with offer, price, currency, availability and optional rating), Organization (logo and social profiles), LocalBusiness (address, phone, opening hours, geo coordinates) and BreadcrumbList. Fill in the form and copy the ready-to-paste <script type="application/ld+json"> block into your page. Required fields are marked, and the JSON is always valid, with proper escaping. A note of honesty: structured data makes you eligible for rich results but never guarantees them, and it must describe content that's actually visible on the page. Also, Google now shows FAQ rich results only for a small set of authoritative government and health sites, so we haven't included FAQ schema. Test your markup with Google's Rich Results Test.

  3. Paste the code into the page’s HTML (head or body).
  4. Test with Google’s Rich Results Test, then watch Search Console.

FAQ

Will schema improve my rankings?

Not directly. It helps search engines understand the page and can earn rich results, which may improve clicks.

JSON-LD or microdata?

JSON-LD. Google recommends it and it’s easiest to maintain.

Why no FAQ schema?

Since 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results only for a few authoritative sites, so for most pages it no longer has a visible effect.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The code is generated in your browser.
