Image Cropper

Cropping is the quickest way to improve a photo: remove a messy background, straighten the focus onto a face or product, or fit the exact shape a platform wants. This free image cropper lets you open a photo, drag a crop box over the part you want to keep, and download the result in seconds. Lock the box to popular aspect ratios: 1:1 for profile pictures and Instagram squares, 4:5 for Instagram portrait posts, 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails and slides, 9:16 for Stories, Reels and TikTok, 3:2 for classic photos, or leave it free. You can also type exact pixel values for X, Y, width and height when precision matters, such as fitting a passport photo template or a website banner slot. Rotate the image in 90-degree steps if your phone saved it sideways. The cropped image downloads in the same format as the original (PNG stays PNG, so transparency is kept; others save as high-quality JPG), and you can then use our resizer to hit exact dimensions. Like all Botvana image tools, cropping happens on a canvas in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded, and metadata such as GPS location is removed from the saved file.
