Sometimes you just need somewhere to type. That might be a quick list, a draft before it goes into an email, a phone number from a call, or text you want to clean up before pasting elsewhere. This free online notepad opens instantly and auto-saves as you type, so if you close the tab or restart your computer, your notes are still here next time you open the page on the same browser. There's no account and no sign-in. You can keep several notes, switch between them from the list, and rename or delete them. A live counter shows words, characters and lines. Use Find to jump to a word, and download any note as a .txt file or open an existing text file from your computer. Toggle a monospaced font for code or tables, adjust the text size, and turn on line wrapping as you prefer. Your notes are stored in your browser's local storage on this device only. They're never uploaded, so we can't read them, but they also don't sync between devices, and clearing your browser data deletes them. Download anything important. Avoid storing passwords here, too: use a password manager for those.
